Friends Book Sales

The Friends of the Phoenix Public Library hold several massive book sales during the year to raise funds for library programs and materials. The book sales are volunteer events and we sell donated and library discarded material, most at $2.00 or less. We have over 200,000 titles on sale and almost every category is represented. The books, CD’s, DVD’s, books on tape, computer software and records are painstakingly organized to easily browse your area of interest.

We will also continue to have a special selection of books and items that are individually priced, or Barbie's Select Books. This special room is in honor of our beloved friend Barbie Perry, who was a dedicated volunteer and Friend. Barbie's room will have even more great titles for everyone, and although these items will have slightly higher price points, they are still great bargains.

To attend Friends Only sale days, you must be a current member. Annual memberships start at as little as $20 and if you're not a Friends member yet, you can join now or at the door the day of the sales. Unless you are at the Family membership level or above, we ask that you kindly do not bring guests. Sunday is always ½ Price day, all materials are ½ Price off on any Sunday sale.  All sales are held at our warehouse located at 1330 N 29th Ave:
